Rapid Transport Company Limited is a Kenyan fuel logistics company incorporated in 2009 and forms part of a regional transport group with deep expertise in petroleum transportation across East and Southern Africa. The company is a sister entity to Rapid Transport Company SARL (Democratic Republic of Congo) and Rapzam Transport Company Limited (Zambia).

The group's fuel transport operations date back to 2001, when Rapid Transport Company SARL commenced petroleum logistics in the DRC. Over more than two decades, the group has built extensive experience in local and cross-border fuel distribution, operating at scale and under complex operating environments.

Rapid Transport Kenya was initially established to serve local fuel distribution needs and for many years relied on subcontracted transport capacity. In line with a renewed growth strategy, the company has recently invested in its own fleet of 10 brand new fuel tankers and is executing a structured expansion plan to grow this fleet to 100 tankers by the end of 2026.
